It is advisable – and more convenient – to use either an electric or a hand-held blender to mix the ingredients of the following instant energy drinks.  All energy drinks should be consumed immediately after making them.

Ginseng tea
To prepare ginseng tea, steep five to six slices of ginseng root in one cup of boiling water for ten to fifteen minutes. Add a teaspoon of honey.

Ginseng is a natural energy booster.

Banana energy drink
Take one ripe banana and one glass of skimmed milk. Blend the banana and milk in a blender. Add either a few figs, almonds, dates or raisins to the blender. Add a teaspoon of honey.

Bananas benefit your nervous system. Figs, dates and raisins contain natural sugars to boost energy. Honey nourishes digestion and boosts energy.

Soy energy drink
Take a glass of soy milk. Add a teaspoon of raisins or strawberries. Blend the ingredients in a blender. Add a teaspoon of honey.

Oatmeal energy drink
Take ¼ cup of oatmeal, 4 to 5 almonds and a glass of milk. Blend these ingredients in a blender. Add one teaspoon of honey in the drink.

Oatmeal contains fibre, vitamins and carbohydrates. It is a highly nutritious food.

Honey and bee pollen drink
Take a cup of warm water, one heaped teaspoon of bee pollen powder and one tablespoon of honey. Mix the ingredients together in a blender.  Add ginseng extract for an extra energy boost.

Honey benefits your digestion and is a quick energy booster. Bee pollen contains essential fatty acids and amino acids, and stimulates production of sexual hormones. Ginseng boosts energy and enhances digestion.

Egg yolk and carrot juice drink
Add an egg yolk to one large cup of carrot juice, then mix well with a fork. Add half a teaspoon of spirulina powder for an extra boost.

Carrot juice is highly cleansing and nourishing, and improves blood quality which helps relieve fatigue. Egg yolk stimulates sluggish, exhausted adrenal glands. Spirulina is a super-nutritious vegetable protein.

Soy milk, egg yolk and honey drink
Take a glass of natural soy milk, add an egg yolk and one tablespoon of honey. Blend the ingredients in a blender until smooth.

Soy milk is a protein alternative for pasteurized cow’s milk. Egg yolk contains lecithin which benefits your brain and nervous system. Honey nourishes digestion and provides a rapid energy boost.

Carrot, apple, egg yolk and honey drink
Take a glass of natural soy milk. Add one finely diced carrot, half a finely diced apple, one egg yolk, one tablesppoon of honey and some ginseng extract (3-9 grams in liquid or granulated form). Mix all ingredients together in a blender until smooth.
