Beddy-Bye-Eye Ponies

The second set of baby My Little Ponies were the Beddy-Bye-Eye Baby Ponies. They were printed in Year 4, between 1985 and 1986. Their eyes are made like baby-doll eyes, so that they close when the pony is lying down. The Beddy-Bye-Eye babies were all designed to correspond to adult So Soft ponies. As in earlier sets, the unicorn ponies had hair of two colors, while the earth and pegasus babies had hair of a single color; however, different from earlier sets, none of the Beddy-Bye-Eye babies had glittery symbols. Some of the babies were also released in Europe with regular ("non-Beddy-Bye") eyes. No Beddy-Bye-Eye baby ponies were ever printed after Year 4, in any country.

Each baby pony came with a number of different accessories, but every package included a duck comb, a ribbon, and a scented sticker. 

Baby Lickety-Split is a lavender baby earth pony with light pink hair. She has lavender beddy-bye eyes. Her symbol is three white ice creams with pink cones. Her eyeshadow is lavender. She was released again in Year 5, in an alternate pose, as a First Tooth baby pony. She is in the Beddy-Bye-Eye Earth Pose. Her mother is either Earth Pony Lickety-Split or So Soft Lickety-Split. Baby Lickety-Split came with a number of accessories, including a large bottle with colored trim, a duck comb, a ribbon, and a scented sticker. 



Baby Shady is a bright neon pink baby earth pony with neon yellow hair. She has aqua beddy-bye eyes. Her symbol is three pairs of sunglasses with lavender frames and white lenses. Her eyeshadow is dark pink. She is in the Beddy-Bye-Eye Earth Pose. Her mother is So Soft Shady. Baby Shady came with a number of accessories including a play pen, a blanket, a large bottle with colored trim, a duck comb, a ribbon, and a scented sticker.

I own these 2 My Little Ponies. both in very good condition, but missing accessories.
